Detection of elliptical shapes via cross-entropy clustering
Jacek Tabor, Krzysztof Misztal

TL;DR
This paper presents a method using cross-entropy clustering to detect elliptical shapes in images, capable of handling predefined sizes, positions, and extending to higher-dimensional ellipsoids.
Contribution
The paper introduces a novel approach employing cross-entropy clustering for efficient detection of ellipses and ellipsoids with specific size and position constraints.
Findings
Effective detection of ellipses with predefined parameters.
Extension of the method to higher-dimensional ellipsoids.
Robustness in various image scenarios.
Abstract
The problem of finding elliptical shapes in an image will be considered. We discuss the solution which uses cross-entropy clustering. The proposed method allows the search for ellipses with predefined sizes and position in the space. Moreover, it works well for search of ellipsoids in higher dimensions.
