A. Bazavov, P. Petreczky

TL;DR
This paper investigates static quark correlators in 2+1 flavor QCD at non-zero temperature, analyzing their relation to quarkonium properties in medium through lattice results and potential models.
Contribution
It provides new lattice data on static correlation functions and explores their implications for understanding quarkonium behavior at finite temperature.
Findings
Lattice results for static correlators at non-zero temperature
Insights into in-medium quarkonium properties
Implications for potential models of quarkonium
Abstract
We discuss different static quark correlators, including Wilson loops in 2+1 flavor QCD at non-zero temperature and their relation to in-medium quarkonium properties. We present lattice results on static correlation functions obtained with highly improved staggered fermion action and their implications for potential models.
