TL;DR
This paper investigates how in-medium effects influence hyperon-nucleon interactions, which are crucial for understanding the formation of multi-strange hypernuclei in reactions relevant to PANDA experiments.
Contribution
It provides new insights into in-medium modifications of hyperon-nucleon channels affecting hypernuclear formation at PANDA.
Findings
Strong in-medium effects on hyperon-nucleon scattering observed
In-medium effects could significantly impact hypernuclear production
Results are relevant for hypernuclear studies at PANDA
Abstract
We study strangeness dynamics in reactions relevant for the formation of multi-strange hypernuclei. In particular, we discuss the in-medium effects on elementary hyperon-nucleon () channels, which are relevant for the production of hypernuclei at PANDA. The results indicate strong in-medium effects on -scattering, which might be important for hypernuclear studies at PANDA.
