Polarized and transversity GPDs in kaon leptoproduction
S. V. Goloskokov

TL;DR
This paper investigates kaon leptoproduction using the handbag approach, incorporating leading-twist and transversity twist-3 effects to predict cross sections and spin asymmetries.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive analysis of kaon leptoproduction including transversity effects, enhancing understanding of GPDs in meson production.
Findings
Predicted cross sections align with existing data.
Transversity twist-3 effects significantly impact asymmetry predictions.
Provides detailed predictions for future experimental tests.
Abstract
We study the kaon leptoproduction on the basis of the handbag approach. We consider the leading-twist contribution together with the transversity twist-3 effects which were found to be important in the description of pseudo-scalar meson production. We present our predictions for the cross section and spin asymmetries in the kaon leptoproduction.
