Abstract
In this paper, approximate convexity and approximate midconvexity properties, called -convexity and -midconvexity, of real valued function are investigated. Various characterizations of -convex and -midconvex functions are obtained. Furthermore, the relationship between -midconvexity and -convexity is established.
