Function contractive maps in triangular symmetric spaces
Mihai Turinici

TL;DR
This paper introduces fixed point results for functional contractions in triangular symmetric spaces, linking these findings to existing theories in metric and partial metric spaces.
Contribution
It extends fixed point theory to triangular symmetric spaces and explores connections with metric and partial metric space theories.
Findings
Fixed point results for functional contractions in triangular symmetric spaces
Connections established with metric and partial metric space theories
Extension of fixed point theory beyond standard metric spaces
Abstract
Some fixed point results are given for a class of functional contractions acting on (reflexive) triangular symmetric spaces. Technical connections with the corresponding theories over (standard) metric and partial metric spaces are also being established.
