TL;DR
This study reports the discovery of over 60 variable stars, including 25 pulsating candidates, in the young open cluster NGC 457 through photometric variability analysis.
Contribution
First comprehensive variability survey of NGC 457 identifying numerous variable stars and pulsating candidates.
Findings
Over 60 variable stars identified
25 pulsating or candidate pulsating stars found
Provides initial data for further variability studies
Abstract
We present preliminary results of the photometric variability search in the field of view of the young open cluster NGC 457. We find over 60 variable stars in the field, including 25 pulsating or candidate pulsating stars.
