3-D reconstructions of active stars - observations
Heidi Korhonen (NBI, StarPlan University of Copenhagen, FINCA, University of Turku)

TL;DR
This paper reviews advanced observational techniques and recent findings related to the surfaces and interiors of active stars, which are challenging to study due to their faintness and point-source nature.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of current methods and recent results in 3-D reconstructions of active stars' surfaces and interiors.
Findings
Summarizes state-of-the-art observational techniques.
Highlights recent discoveries in stellar surface features.
Discusses advances in 3-D stellar interior modeling.
Abstract
Stars are usually faint point sources and investigating their surfaces and interiors observationally is very demanding. Here I give a review on the state-of-the-art observing techniques and recent results on studying interiors and surface features of active stars.
