String theory embeddings of non-relativistic field theories and their holographic Horava gravity duals
Stefan Janiszewski, Andreas Karch

TL;DR
This paper proposes that non-relativistic quantum field theories can be holographically described by Horava gravity, and provides explicit string theory examples through non-relativistic limits of relativistic dual pairs.
Contribution
It introduces a novel holographic duality between non-relativistic field theories and Horava gravity, with explicit string theory embeddings.
Findings
Established a connection between non-relativistic QFTs and Horava gravity.
Constructed explicit string theory examples of the duality.
Demonstrated the non-relativistic limit process from relativistic dual pairs.
Abstract
We argue that generic non-relativistic quantum field theories have a holographic description in terms of Horava gravity. We construct explicit examples of this duality embedded in string theory by starting with relativistic dual pairs and taking a non-relativistic scaling limit.
