Instability of the magnetohydrodynamics system at vanishing Rm
Ismael Bouya

TL;DR
This paper investigates the stability of the magnetohydrodynamics system as the magnetic Reynolds number approaches zero, establishing a general Lyapunov instability result to enhance understanding of dynamo behavior.
Contribution
It provides a new, more general Lyapunov instability result for the MHD system at low Rm, improving upon previous analyses.
Findings
Establishes a generic Lyapunov instability at vanishing Rm
Enhances understanding of dynamo properties in MHD systems
Improves upon previous stability analyses
Abstract
The aim of this note is to study the dynamo properties of the magnetohydrodynamics system at vanishing Rm. Improving the analysis of a former study, we shall establish a generic Lyapunov instability result.
