Top Quark Mass Measurements from CDF
Ford Garberson (on behalf of the CDF Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reviews top quark mass measurements from CDF Run II up to 2008, discussing methods, systematic challenges, combined results with D0, and implications for the Standard Model Higgs mass.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of top mass measurement techniques, systematic issues, and combined results, contributing to precision tests of the Standard Model.
Findings
Top mass measurements have been performed with various algorithms.
Systematic uncertainties are identified and discussed.
Combined results with D0 impact Higgs mass constraints.
Abstract
This document was written as part of the PANIC 2008 conference proceedings in Eilat Israel. We review top mass measurements performed at CDF Run II through October of 2008. The basic algorithms used in many mass measurements are discussed as are some common systematic difficulties. Mass results in combination with the D0 Collaboration are presented, and the implications on the Standard Model Higgs mass are discussed.
