Enhancement of $H\to\gamma\gamma$ from charged Higgs bosons in the Higgs Triplet Model
A.G. Akeroyd, S. Moretti (Southampton U., Rutherford)

TL;DR
This paper proposes that the observed excess in the Higgs to diphoton decay channel at the LHC can be explained by contributions from charged Higgs bosons predicted in the Higgs Triplet Model, highlighting a potential new physics signal.
Contribution
It introduces the Higgs Triplet Model as a framework to account for the diphoton excess via charged Higgs bosons, providing a novel explanation for the LHC observations.
Findings
Charged Higgs bosons can enhance the $H o\gamma\gamma$ signal.
Both singly and doubly charged Higgs bosons contribute to the excess.
The model aligns with current experimental data.
Abstract
We explain the current excess seen at the Large Hadron Collider via the channel in the search for a neutral Higgs boson in terms of both singly (marginally) and doubly (predominantly) charged Higgs bosons predicted by the Higgs Triplet Model.
