TL;DR
This paper explores braneworld solutions within a bimetric theory featuring a Cuscuton-like scalar field, demonstrating the stability of these solutions and introducing a novel approach to braneworld modeling.
Contribution
It presents a new method to generate stable braneworld solutions in bimetric theories with a Cuscuton-like scalar field, a scenario not previously studied.
Findings
No gravitational instabilities found in the solutions
Generated braneworld solutions in a novel bimetric scalar field model
Demonstrated stability of the solutions
Abstract
We investigate the presence of braneworld solutions in a bimetric theory, with gravity and the scalar field coupling differently. We consider a non-standard model, with a Cuscuton-like scalar field, and we show how to generate braneworld solutions in this new scenario. In particular, we found no gravitational instabilities for the braneworld solutions.
