Olga V. Radchenko, Alexander A. Reshetnyak

TL;DR
This paper proves the nilpotency of operators governing gauge dependence in gauge theories with soft BRST symmetry breaking within the Batalin-Vilkovisky formalism, advancing understanding of gauge invariance in such theories.
Contribution
It demonstrates the nilpotency of gauge dependence operators in theories with soft BRST breaking, extending the Batalin-Vilkovisky formalism.
Findings
Operators describing gauge dependence are nilpotent.
Supports consistent gauge dependence analysis in broken BRST symmetry.
Enhances formal understanding of gauge theories with soft symmetry breaking.
Abstract
We have proved the nilpotency of the operators which describe the gauge dependence of the generating functionals of Green's functions for the gauge theories with the soft breaking of BRST symmetry in the Batalin-Vilkovisky formalism.
