B. P. Lavrov, I. S. Umrikhin

TL;DR
This paper presents a detailed atlas of the visible emission spectrum of the D₂ molecule, including wavenumber and intensity data for nearly 12,000 spectral lines, achieved through spectral recording, deconvolution, and calibration.
Contribution
The study provides the first comprehensive atlas of the D₂ molecule's visible emission spectrum with calibrated wavenumber and intensity data, including line assignments, based on moderate-resolution measurements.
Findings
Wavenumber values for 11,990 spectral lines were accurately determined.
The spectrum atlas covers 158 sections with detailed images and data.
Calibration and deconvolution improved spectral line accuracy.
Abstract
The visible part ( nm) of the multiline electronic-vibro-rotational emission spectrum of the molecule was recorded with moderate resolution (line widths nm). The resolution was limited by Doppler broadening of spectral lines. After numerical deconvolution of the recorded intensity distributions and proper calibration of the spectrometer the new set of wavenumber values was obtained. The results are reported in the form of an atlas divided into 158 sections (each section covers about 1.5 nm) containing pictures of images in the focal plane of the spectrometer, intensity distributions in linear and logarithmic scales and the table containing wavenumber and relative intensity values for 11990 spectral lines together with existing line assignments.
