Anabella T. Araudo, Gisela Ortiz-Leon, and Luis F. Rodriguez

TL;DR
This paper models the non-thermal radio to gamma-ray emission from the colliding wind region in Cyg OB2 #5, assessing the potential for gamma-ray detection in this massive stellar system.
Contribution
It provides a detailed model of high-energy emission from the colliding wind region in Cyg OB2 #5, highlighting its detectability prospects.
Findings
Predicted gamma-ray flux levels suggest possible detectability.
Non-thermal emission extends from radio to gamma-ray energies.
Modeling indicates the colliding wind region as a significant gamma-ray source.
Abstract
In this contribution we model the non-thermal emission (from radio to gamma-rays) produced in the compact (and recently detected) colliding wind region in the multiple stellar system Cyg OB2 #5. We focus our study on the detectability of the produced gamma-rays.
