Asymptotics of the ground state energy of heavy molecules and related topics
Victor Ivrii

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the asymptotic behavior of the ground state energy of heavy atoms and molecules, including quantum corrections, and explores related phenomena like negative charge and ionization energy.
Contribution
It provides detailed asymptotic formulas for the ground state energy of heavy molecules, incorporating Schwinger and Dirac corrections, and investigates related charge and binding properties.
Findings
Derived asymptotic formulas including quantum corrections
Analyzed excessive negative charge and ionization energy
Explored conditions for molecular binding with excess charge
Abstract
We consider asymptotics of the ground state energy of heavy atoms and molecules and derive it including Schwinger and Dirac corrections. We consider also related topics: an excessive negative charge, ionization energy and excessive negative charge when atoms can still bind into molecules.
