K-theory of hermitian symmetric spaces and root lattices
Dennis Bohle, Wend Werner

TL;DR
This paper introduces a new class of K-theoretic cycles linked to root lattices, aiding the classification of inductive limits of hermitian symmetric spaces.
Contribution
It presents a novel approach connecting K-theory cycles with root lattices for hermitian symmetric spaces, advancing classification methods.
Findings
New K-theoretic cycles associated with root lattices
Framework for classifying inductive limits of symmetric spaces
Enhanced understanding of K-theoretical invariants in geometry
Abstract
This is a companion to a recent investigation of K-theoretical invariants for symmetric spaces. We introduce a new class of cycles in K-groups, which are connected to elements of an underlying root lattice. This will be needed for a K-theoretical classification of inductive limits.
