TL;DR
This paper discusses Be stars as rapidly rotating pulsators that lack large-scale magnetic fields, highlighting their pulsation behavior and rotational characteristics.
Contribution
It establishes that all Be stars are rapid rotators and pulsators without significant dipolar magnetic fields, clarifying their physical nature.
Findings
All Be stars are rapid rotators.
Most Be stars are pulsating stars.
None possess large-scale dipolar magnetic fields.
Abstract
I will show that Be stars are, without exception, a class of rapidly rotating stars, which are in the majority of cases pulsating stars as well, while none of them does possess a large scale (i.e. with significant dipolar contribution) magnetic field.
