TL;DR
This paper computes non-extremal correlators involving Schur polynomials and single trace operators, matching string theory results through a regularization method, and explores their dual descriptions via giant gravitons.
Contribution
It introduces a regularization procedure that aligns extremal correlators of Schur polynomials and single trace operators with string theory calculations.
Findings
Exact matching of extremal correlators with string theory.
Regularization procedure ensures consistency between gauge theory and string theory.
Analysis of both extremal and non-extremal correlators in the giant graviton framework.
Abstract
We calculate non-extremal correlators of Schur polynomials and single trace operators. We analyse their dual descriptions from the approach of the variation of DBI and WZ actions of the giant gravitons. We show a regularization procedure under which the extremal correlators of Schur polynomials and single trace operators match exactly with string theory computation. Other aspects of the extremal and non-extremal correlators are also discussed.
