Collider-independent top quark forward-backward asymmetries: standard model predictions
J. A. Aguilar-Saavedra, W. Bernreuther, Z.-G. Si

TL;DR
This paper calculates the standard model predictions for collider-independent top quark forward-backward asymmetries at NLO in QCD, including electromagnetic and weak corrections, for both Tevatron and LHC.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed NLO standard model predictions for collider-independent asymmetries, incorporating electroweak effects.
Findings
Predicted asymmetries are consistent with existing measurements.
Electroweak corrections significantly affect the asymmetry values.
Results serve as a baseline for new physics searches.
Abstract
We compute, for top quark pair production at the Tevatron and the Large Hadron Collider, the collider-independent forward-backward asymmetries defined in [1] in the standard model at next-to-leading order in QCD, including also electromagnetic and weak corrections.
