Superbubble Origin of Cosmic Rays
Richard E. Lingenfelter

TL;DR
This paper discusses the discovery that superbubbles are the primary origin of cosmic rays, summarizing the journey through astronomical observations and measurements over the past century.
Contribution
It provides a concise overview of the evidence linking superbubbles to cosmic ray production, clarifying their role in cosmic ray origins.
Findings
Superbubbles are confirmed as the main sources of cosmic rays.
Astronomical observations support the superbubble origin hypothesis.
Cosmic ray measurements align with superbubble acceleration models.
Abstract
After a hundred years of searching for the origin of cosmic rays, where and how they are made has finally become clear. Here we briefly trace that odyssey through both astronomical observations and cosmic ray measurements.
