TL;DR
This paper constructs a mass-deformed L-BLG theory from ABJ theory, providing a low-energy description of M2-branes away from singularities through a specific scaling limit.
Contribution
It introduces a novel mass deformation of the L-BLG theory derived from ABJ theory, expanding the understanding of M2-brane world volume theories.
Findings
Mass deformed L-BLG theory constructed
Connection to M2-branes away from singularities established
Scaling limit of fields and Chern-Simons level identified
Abstract
We construct mass deformed SU(N) L-BLG theory together with Chern-Simons theory. This mass deformed L-BLG theory is a low energy world volume theory of a stack of number of M2-brane far away from singularity. We carry out this by defining a special scaling limit of the fields of this theory and simultaneously sending the Chern-Simons level to infinity.
