Two-parametric model-independent observables for $Z'$ searching at the Tevatron
Alexey Gulov, Andrey Kozhushko

TL;DR
This paper introduces model-independent two- and one-parametric observables for $Z'$ boson searches at the Tevatron, enabling constraints on its couplings in a general framework, including leptophobic scenarios.
Contribution
It proposes novel, model-independent observables based on integrated Drell-Yan cross sections for $Z'$ searches, accommodating non-universal fermion couplings and leptophobic cases.
Findings
Defined two-parametric observables for $Z'$ coupling constraints.
Proposed a one-parametric observable for leptophobic $Z'$ detection.
Applicable to general $Z'$ models with non-universal fermion interactions.
Abstract
We propose a scheme of searches for the gauge boson as a virtual state in scattering processes at the Tevatron taking into account model-independent relations between the couplings to fermions. We integrate the Drell-Yan process cross setion to construct two-parametric observables, which are suitable for searches in the process. The observables allow to constrain the vector and axial-vector couplings to SM fermions in a general parameterization with non-universal interactions with fermion generations. Also a one-parametric observable for searching for the popular leptophobic boson is proposed.
