TL;DR
This paper investigates the theoretical possibility of a fundamental lower limit to velocity or velocity change, significantly below the speed of light, and examines potential observable effects in cosmic phenomena.
Contribution
It introduces the concept of a lower velocity limit and analyzes its potential observable signatures in cosmic rays and gamma-ray bursts.
Findings
No definitive lower velocity limit established
Potential signatures could be detectable in high-energy astrophysical observations
Provides a framework for future experimental tests
Abstract
Here we explore the possibility of a lower limit to velocity or velocity change which is 20 orders of magnitude smaller than the speed of light and explore the various observable signatures including those in cosmic rays and gamma ray bursts.
