Sivers Asymmetry in $e+p^\uparrow \rightarrow e+J/\psi+X$
Asmita Mukherjee

TL;DR
This paper investigates the Sivers asymmetry in $J/ar{J}$ production via electron-proton collisions, demonstrating its potential to probe the gluon Sivers function and revealing sizable asymmetries in the process.
Contribution
It introduces the use of low virtuality electroproduction of $J/ar{J}$ as a new method to explore the gluon Sivers function, highlighting its effectiveness as a probe.
Findings
Sizable single spin asymmetry observed in $J/\psi$ production.
The asymmetry can serve as a probe for the gluon Sivers function.
Potential for experimental measurement in future experiments.
Abstract
A recent investigation of the single spin asymmetry (SSA) in low virtuality electroproduction/photoproduction of in color evaporation model is presented. It is shown that the asymmetry is sizable and can be used as a probe for the still unknown gluon Sivers function.
