TL;DR
This study searches for invisible decays of $ta$ and $ta'$ mesons in $J/$ decays, setting upper limits on their branching ratios, with no signals observed above background.
Contribution
First search for invisible decays of $ta$ and $ta'$ in $J/$ decays using BESIII data, establishing new upper limits.
Findings
No evidence for invisible decays found.
Upper limits set at 90% confidence level.
Constraints improve previous bounds on invisible decay rates.
Abstract
Using a sample of decays collected with the BESIII detector at BEPCII, searches for invisible decays of and in and are performed. Decays of are used to tag the and decays. No signals above background are found for the invisible decays, and upper limits at the 90% confidence level are determined to be for the ratio and for .
