A global, dynamical formulation of quantum confined systems
Nuno Costa Dias, Jo\~ao Nuno Prata

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent advances in the global self-adjoint formulation of boundary systems, focusing on a dynamical approach to quantum confinement in one-dimensional systems.
Contribution
It introduces a novel dynamical formulation of quantum confinement based on a global self-adjoint approach for boundary systems in one dimension.
Findings
Provides a unified framework for quantum systems with boundaries.
Derives a dynamical formulation specific to 1D quantum confinement.
Highlights the importance of self-adjointness in boundary quantum systems.
Abstract
A brief review of some recent results on the global self-adjoint formulation of systems with boundaries is presented. We specialize to the 1-dimensional case and obtain a dynamical formulation of quantum confinement.
