C. Brenner Mariotto, M.V.T. Machado

TL;DR
This paper investigates the production of massive gauge bosons at the LHeC, providing cross section estimates, event counts, and analyzing potential deviations from the Standard Model through asymmetries and anomalous couplings.
Contribution
It offers the first detailed estimates of gauge boson production at the LHeC and explores the sensitivity to anomalous couplings beyond the Standard Model.
Findings
Estimated production cross sections and event numbers for W and Z bosons.
Analysis of W boson asymmetries as probes for new physics.
Assessment of the impact of anomalous WWγ couplings.
Abstract
In this work we investigate the photoproduction of massive gauge bosons, and , as part of relevant physics topics to be studied in the proposed electron-proton collider, the LHeC. The estimates for production cross sections and the number of events are presented. In addition, motivated by the intensive studies to test the deviations from the Standard Model at present and future colliders, we discuss the asymmetries and perform an analysis on the role played by anomalous coupling.
