Two-scale hadronic structure and elastic pp scattering: predicted and measured
B. Z. Kopeliovich, I. K. Potashnikova, and B. Povh

TL;DR
This paper updates and confirms a high-energy hadron interaction model based on two-scale hadronic structure, showing that past predictions align with recent precise measurements from the TOTEM experiment at LHC.
Contribution
It validates a decade-old dynamical model of hadron interactions using new experimental data, confirming the two-scale structure approach.
Findings
Predictions from the model match TOTEM measurements with high precision.
The two-scale hadronic structure effectively describes elastic pp scattering at LHC energies.
The model's accuracy supports its underlying assumptions about hadron structure.
Abstract
We update the comparison with experiment of the dynamical model of high-energy hadron interactions based on the two scale structure of hadrons. All predictions made over decade ago are confirmed with a high precision by the TOTEM experiment at LHC.
