Presentations for Generalized nilHecke Algebras
Benjamin Cooper

TL;DR
This paper provides explicit presentations for generalized nilHecke algebras related to Schubert calculus, highlighting their deviations from braid relations and linking these to algebra deformation theory.
Contribution
It introduces explicit presentations for these algebras and analyzes the obstructions to braid relations, connecting them to deformation theory.
Findings
Explicit algebra presentations are provided.
Obstructions to braid relations are characterized.
Connection to deformation theory is established.
Abstract
In this note presentations are given for the nilHecke algebras implicit in the work of Bressler and Evens on Schubert calculus for generalized cohomology theories. Such algebras do not usually satisfy the braid relation. Here the obstruction to the braid relation being satisfied is given explicitly and a connection with the deformation theory of algebras is made.
