A Requiem For Schr\"odinger's Cat
Thomas L. Wilson

TL;DR
This paper clarifies that Schrödinger's cat paradox is based on a reasoning error about defining life, and shows that no paradox exists within current biological understanding.
Contribution
It identifies a fundamental mistake in the original paradox and resolves it, clarifying the relationship between quantum mechanics and biological life.
Findings
The paradox is based on a reasoning error.
No paradox exists with current understanding of life.
Clarification of the relationship between quantum mechanics and biology.
Abstract
It is pointed out that Schr\"odinger's celebrated "cat" paradox contains a simple error in reasoning regarding the definition of life. It is then shown that there is no paradox in the context of life as we currently understand it.
