Characteristic classes in deformation quantization
Thomas Willwacher

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that five characteristic functions associated with various formality morphisms in deformation quantization are actually equivalent, unifying different approaches within the field.
Contribution
The paper proves the equivalence of five characteristic functions related to formality morphisms in deformation quantization, providing a unifying insight.
Findings
All five characteristic functions are shown to agree.
The result unifies different formality morphism approaches.
Provides a deeper understanding of characteristic functions in deformation quantization.
Abstract
In deformation quantization one can associate five characteristic functions to (stable) formality morphisms on cochains and chains and to "two-brane" formality morphisms. We show that these characteristic functions agree.
