Amos Fiat, Anna R. Karlin, Elias Koutsoupias, Angelina Vidali

TL;DR
This paper introduces strongly truthful mechanisms that ensure truthful reporting and resist externalities, providing new tools for implementation in strategic settings such as auctions and scheduling.
Contribution
It presents the concept of strongly truthful mechanisms and demonstrates their application to externality-resistant auctions and multi-dimensional scheduling problems.
Findings
Strongly truthful mechanisms guarantee truthful reporting.
Application to externality-resistant auction design.
Effective in multi-dimensional scheduling scenarios.
Abstract
We introduce and study strongly truthful mechanisms and their applications. We use strongly truthful mechanisms as a tool for implementation in undominated strategies for several problems, including the design of externality resistant auctions and a variant of multi-dimensional scheduling.
