TL;DR
This study measures the decay rates of $oldsymbol{ ext{chi}_cJ}$ particles into specific baryon-antibaryon-pion final states using BESIII data, providing more precise results and first observations for some decay modes.
Contribution
First-time observation of certain $oldsymbol{ ext{chi}_cJ}$ decays and more precise measurements of previously known decay modes using a large BESIII dataset.
Findings
More precise branching fraction measurements for $ ext{chi}_c0$ and $ ext{chi}_c2$ decays.
First observation of $ ext{chi}_c1 o par{n}\pi^-$ and $ ext{chi}_cJ o par{n}\pi^-\pi^0$ decays.
Results are consistent with previous data but significantly more accurate.
Abstract
Using a data sample of events collected with the BESIII detector in 2009, the branching fractions of and (=0,1,2) are measured{Throughout the text, inclusion of charge conjugate modes is implied if not stated otherwise.}. The results for and are consistent with, but much more precise than those of previous measurements. The decays of and are observed for the first time.
