Magnetic moment of the Roper resonance
T. Bauer, J. Gegelia, S. Scherer

TL;DR
This paper calculates the magnetic moment of the Roper resonance using a low-energy effective field theory with a systematic power-counting scheme, providing insights into its electromagnetic properties.
Contribution
It introduces a novel application of the complex-mass scheme to compute the Roper resonance's magnetic moment within effective field theory.
Findings
Magnetic moment of the Roper resonance determined.
Method demonstrates systematic power-counting in complex-mass scheme.
Provides theoretical predictions for experimental comparison.
Abstract
The magnetic moment of the Roper resonance is calculated in the framework of a low-energy effective field theory of the strong interactions. A systematic power-counting procedure is implemented by applying the complex-mass scheme.
