Measurement of CNGS muon neutrino speed with Borexino
Borexino Collaboration

TL;DR
This study measures muon neutrino speed using Borexino and CNGS beams, finding results consistent with neutrinos traveling at the speed of light within experimental uncertainties.
Contribution
First measurement of muon neutrino speed with Borexino using short-bunch CNGS beams, providing precise timing data.
Findings
Neutrino speed measurement consistent with the speed of light.
Time-of-flight difference {}t = 0.8 1.4 ns, compatible with zero.
Results support standard neutrino speed expectations.
Abstract
We have measured the speed of muon neutrinos with the Borexino detector using short-bunch CNGS beams. The final result for the difference in time-of-flight between a <E>=17 GeV muon neutrino and a particle moving at the speed of light in vacuum is {\delta}t = 0.8 \pm 0.7stat \pm 2.9sys ns, well consistent with zero.
