On the bound state of the antiproton-deuterium-tritium ion
Alexei M. Frolov

TL;DR
This paper investigates the properties, hyperfine structure, and stability of the weakly-bound antiproton-deuterium-tritium ion using high-precision calculations, exploring its potential for nuclear fusion and annihilation rate estimation.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed analysis of the $ar{p}dt$ ion's bound state, hyperfine structure, and lifetime, including implications for nuclear fusion and annihilation processes.
Findings
Determined the properties of the weakly-bound $S$-state in the $ar{p}dt$ ion.
Analyzed the hyperfine structure splitting of the ion.
Estimated the ion's lifetime against nuclear fusion and annihilation.
Abstract
The properties of the weakly-bound state in the ion are investigated with the use of the results of highly accurate computations. The hyperfine structure splitting of this ion is investigated. We also evaluate the life-time of the ion against the nuclear fusion and discuss a possibility to evaluate the corresponding annihilation rate(s).
