Quarkonium+$\gamma$ production in coherent hadron - hadron interactions at LHC energies
V. P. Goncalves, M. M. Machado

TL;DR
This paper investigates the production of quarkonium plus photon in coherent hadron-hadron collisions at LHC energies, estimating cross sections and distributions to assess experimental feasibility.
Contribution
It introduces a method to estimate $H + \gamma$ production cross sections at LHC using NRQCD with different matrix element sets, focusing on coherent interactions.
Findings
Predicted total cross sections for $p + p ightarrow p + H + \gamma + X$ at 7 and 14 TeV.
Rapidity distributions indicating feasible detection of $J/\Psi + \gamma$ at LHC.
Demonstrated the potential for experimental analysis of quarkonium plus photon production.
Abstract
In this paper we study the ( and ) production in coherent hadron - hadron interactions at LHC energies. Considering the ultrarelativistic protons as a source of photons, we estimate the cross section using the non-relativistic QCD (NRQCD) factorization formalism and considering different sets of values for the matrix elements. Our results for the total cross sections and rapidity distributions at and 14 TeV demonstrate that the experimental analysis of the production at LHC is feasible.
