Outlines strategies for GPD extraction from experimental data
Discusses future experimental outlook for GPD research
Abstract
We review the experimental as well as the phenomenology status of Generalized Parton Distributions (GPDs), focusing on recent data on Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering and Deep Virtual Meson Production. We also describe the various strategies for extraction of GPDs from these data. Finally we conclude with a summary of we know about GPDs and the experimental outlook in the years to come.
