Peculiar isolated neutron stars and the source in the Carina Nebula
Adriana Mancini Pires (Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam)

TL;DR
This paper presents observational results of a peculiar isolated neutron star in the Carina Nebula to explore its relation to other neutron star groups and the broader pulsar population.
Contribution
It provides new observational data on 2XMM J104608.7-594306 and analyzes its connection to different neutron star classes.
Findings
Insights into the relationship between peculiar isolated neutron stars and normal pulsars.
Enhanced understanding of neutron star diversity in the Carina Nebula.
Observational evidence linking isolated neutron stars to the broader pulsar population.
Abstract
The new results of our observing campaign targeting the isolated neutron star 2XMM J104608.7-594306 in the Carina Nebula are used to understand how peculiar groups of isolated neutron stars relate to each other, as well as to the bulk of the normal radio pulsar population.
