A new approach to gluon-quark multiplicity ratio
Paolo Bolzoni

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel method combining perturbative and nonperturbative effects to analyze the gluon-quark jet multiplicity ratio, supported by a global data fit, based on recent small-x resummation advances.
Contribution
It presents a new approach that incorporates both perturbative and nonperturbative contributions to the gluon-quark multiplicity ratio, leveraging recent small-x resummation techniques.
Findings
Effective fit to available data
Improved understanding of jet multiplicity ratio
Integration of perturbative and nonperturbative effects
Abstract
We present a new approach in considering and including both the perturbative and the nonperturbative contributions to the multiplicity ratio of gluon and quark jets. The new method is motivated by recent developments in timelike small-x resummation obtained in the factorization scheme. A global analysis to fit the available data is also presented.
