Asteroseismology of stars on the upper main sequence
P. Lenz

TL;DR
This paper reviews the pulsating stars on the upper main sequence, focusing on how asteroseismology reveals their internal structures and addresses uncertainties in stellar opacity models.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive review of upper main sequence pulsators and discusses the impact of opacity uncertainties on asteroseismic inferences.
Findings
Asteroseismology offers insights into internal stellar structures.
Opacity uncertainties significantly affect stellar modeling.
Pulsators on the upper main sequence are key to understanding stellar physics.
Abstract
I review the properties of pulsators located on the upper main sequence in the HR diagram and discuss asteroseismic inferences on the internal structure of stars of spectral type A and B. Special attention is given to the problem of uncertainties in stellar opacities in modelling.
