Lithium Beryllium Phosphide (LiBeP): A possible MgB2-like Superconductor
O. P. Isikaku-Ironkwe

TL;DR
This paper introduces LiBeP as a potential superconductor similar to MgB2, based on iso-electronic and iso-atomic considerations, with estimated critical temperatures around 17-35K.
Contribution
It proposes LiBeP as a new MgB2-like superconductor candidate using a novel search approach based on iso-electronic and iso-atomic principles.
Findings
Estimated Tc of 34.5K for two-gap superconductivity
Estimated Tc of 17.2K for single-gap superconductivity
LiBeP meets the criteria for MgB2-like superconductors
Abstract
The search for materials similar to magnesium diboride, MgB2, based on structure and electronic similarity did not produce close enough superconductors in terms of Tc. Changing the search to iso-electronic and iso-atomic number equivalents opened new doors to very many possible MgB2-like superconductors. Here we present LiBeP which meets these new conditions. We estimate its Tc to be 34.5K if two-gapped or 17.2K if single gapped.
