Contribution
It introduces a novel veto technique for matching parton showers and matrix elements within the CASCADE Monte Carlo framework.
Findings
Effective matching of parton showers and matrix elements demonstrated.
Numerical results for gluon matrix elements in jet production shown.
Veto method improves simulation accuracy in high-energy physics.
Abstract
We illustrate a study based on a veto technique to match parton showers and matrix elements in the Cascade Monte Carlo event generator, and present a numerical application to gluon matrix elements for jet production.
