Imaging partons in exclusive scattering processes
Markus Diehl

TL;DR
This paper discusses the potential of using exclusive scattering processes at a proposed Electron-Ion Collider to image the spatial distribution of partons within protons.
Contribution
It provides recent performance estimates for parton imaging capabilities at a future Electron-Ion Collider.
Findings
Performance estimates suggest feasible imaging of partons.
Potential for detailed spatial distribution mapping.
Advances in experimental techniques for exclusive scattering.
Abstract
The spatial distribution of partons in the proton can be probed in suitable exclusive scattering processes. I report on recent performance estimates for parton imaging at a proposed Electron-Ion Collider.
