M. Sadzikowski, L. Motyka, W. Slominski

TL;DR
This paper provides strong evidence for higher twist effects in diffractive deep inelastic scattering at HERA, especially at low Q^2 and high energy, indicating deviations from standard twist-2 NLO DGLAP predictions.
Contribution
It presents the first clear evidence of higher twist contributions in diffractive DIS at HERA, expanding understanding beyond twist-2 approximations.
Findings
Deviations from twist-2 NLO DGLAP at low Q^2 and high energy.
Data consistent with higher twist effects.
First strong evidence of higher twists in DIS at HERA.
Abstract
We study a twist decomposition of diffractive structure functions in the diffractive deep inelastic scattering at HERA. At low and at large energy the data exhibit a strong deviation from the twist-2 NLO DGLAP description. It is found that this deviation in consistent with higher twist effects. We conclude that the DDIS at HERA provides the first, strong evidence of higher twist effects in DIS.
