TL;DR
This paper discusses recent QCD calculations of energy flow in hadronic collisions, focusing on jet production at wide rapidity separations and their use in analyzing parton showering and multiple parton collisions.
Contribution
It introduces new QCD-based calculations of energy flow observables in high-energy hadron collisions, emphasizing their role in understanding complex collision dynamics.
Findings
Energy flow distributions are sensitive to parton showering effects.
Energy flow observables help distinguish multiple parton collision contributions.
The study provides insights into jet production mechanisms at large rapidity gaps.
Abstract
We present recent QCD calculations of energy flow distributions associated with the production of jets at wide rapidity separations in high-energy hadron collisions, and discuss the role of these observables to analyze contributions from parton showering and from multiple parton collisions.
