Tricritical quantum point and inflationary cosmology
Lawrence B. Crowell

TL;DR
This paper explores how a quantum tricritical point influences holographic protection in inflationary cosmology, leading to a topology change that prevents entropy bound saturation during the universe's early phase.
Contribution
It introduces a novel connection between quantum tricritical points and inflationary cosmology, highlighting a phase transition that affects holographic entropy bounds.
Findings
Transition from closed spacetime to de Sitter space due to quantum tricriticality
Topology change in early universe prevents entropy bound saturation
Holographic protection linked to phase transition in cosmological model
Abstract
The holographic protection due to inflationary cosmology is a conse- quence of a quantum tricritical point. In this scenario a closed spacetime solution transitions into an inflationary de Sitter spacetime. Saturation of the holographic entropy bound is prevented by the phase change in the topology of the early universe.
