TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that quantum non-locality can be enhanced through super-activation, allowing local states to produce Bell inequality violations when combined, with potential for very large violations.
Contribution
It introduces the concept of super-activation of quantum non-locality, showing local states can violate Bell inequalities when tensorized, a novel phenomenon in quantum information.
Findings
Bell violations can be obtained by tensorizing local states.
Super-activation can lead to very large Bell violations.
Quantum non-locality can be super-activated beyond previous limitations.
Abstract
In this paper we show that quantum non-locality can be super-activated. That is, one can obtain violations of Bell inequalities by tensorizing a local state with itself. Moreover, previous results suggest that such Bell violations can be very large.
